The boyos have also teamed up with Chris Moyles as the Mouldy Lookin' Stain to create a parody track of their top 5 hit Guns don't kill people, Rappers do called Dogz Don't Kill People Wabbits Do for Comic Relief - which has reached #1 in the UK download chart.

In other parody news, Bluegrass Rockers Hayseed Dixie are touring the UK in their aptly named "No Sleep til Kirkwall" Tour where they will perform at 25 venues in 27 days, ending up in the windswept town of Kirkwall on Orkney on November 22nd. The band have recorded tributes to AC/DC, Kiss, Aerosmith and Queen, all in a banjo-twanging hillbilly style, and are favourites of Radio 2 DJ Jeremy Vine with their cover of The Darkness hit I Believe in A Thing Called Love recently getting airplay on his show.

Teenage dreams, so hard to beat

Legendary DJ and Presenter John Peel has died of a heart attack in Peru, aged 65.

He remains in many peoples hearts as an adopted uncle, a pioneer and champion of cutting edge music and a charismatic and intensely likeable fellow.
Through doing something he lovely intently, he touched so many peoples lives, in the midst of the shock and upset at his death, no one has turned round and said that he was an unpleasant man.

Without him, our lives will be that little bit duller, and without his voice, as rich as coffee and as smooth as a single malt, the airwaves will feel incomplete.

Celebrate his broadcasting longevity by listening to his favourite song, the marvellous Teenage Kicks by The Undertones and checking out some of these links:

I can hear it; can you hear it too?

Now you can.. Just click here to go to 9th Circle Radio.

To use Winamp to pick up the stream, enter http://81.153.37.210:8000/listen.pls under the "Play URL..." command in the File menu.

To use Windows Media Player select "Open URL..." from the File Menu and put in this address http://81.153.37.210:8000

Of course, the radio will only work when I'm using my PC, so if you can't connect; I've probably wandered off to do something else, or I'm so wildly popular that there isn't room for any more listeners ;)
