Feel the night

I have been recently pointed in the direction of Jay Jay, who descibes himself as an "experimental electronic artist" who is using Fruityloops to create his own tracks. Have yourself a listen, and see what you think; his tunes, Night Dreamer and VOR, are available for download on his site.

Also, whilst I'm in the mood for handing out links to new material, it would seem that some tasty cuts of boot action are to be found on mailing lists nowadays..

Why not get yourself subscribed to Go Home Production's mailing list and hear what lovely Mark GHP has to say for himself, or get in on some sneak previews with Welsh genius Soundhog. Also of particular note is The Confidential newsletter with interviews, news and some tasty tracks up for grabs. But remember, don't tell your friends...

A new track from me

This track takes the flamenco-tastic Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda and adds in some of Missy Elliot's Pass That Dutch to make a fun, summery track that I'm quite happy with! It's my first proper attempt at a bootleg, and also my first use of the Acid software. Have a listen, and I hope you enjoy it!

Sounds like summer...

Currently being dusted off and given a play is a mix by LV15 from June 2002, called Brian Tindle: Shit Eater. If you cut it in half it would say summer all the way through the middle; but it's not a typical sitting-out-in-the-sunshine soundtrack. It holds reminders of those hot, overcast, midsummer days, and the close atmosphere when it seems that the weather doesn't know what it wants to do. It's a bit creepy, a bit fun (rather like the man who made it actually, heh heh) and definitely brought back some old summer memories for me.

Tracklisting:

King Bee - Back By Dope Demand
LCD Soundsystem - Losing My Edge
Baldwin Brothers - That's Right
Karen Ramirez - Looking For Love
Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke
Altern8 - Infiltrate 202
Dee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart
DJ Skribble and Antony Acid - Feel The Drugs
Kosheen - Hide U
Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head
2 Lone Swordsmen - The Bunker
Underworld - Dinosaur Adventure 3D
