Day 11

How many tadpoles can you spot?

We've lost our external gills now, and it won't be long before we are growing legs.

Day 3

We are growing bigger in the Big Frogger house, we all seem to be doing very well, and I think soon we will have eaten out of our eggs and will be laying on top of them, ready to have a go at swimming.

Look, our tails are forming. Soon we will have external gills to help us breathe as we venture out into the big wide world.

Day 2

The frogs are still tiny little dots in their eggs, although some of them are starting to grow:

They are elongating within their eggs - soon we will be able to see a more clearly formed head and tail.

If you like frogs, why not play Racing Frogs? You train a frog, choose it's diet, buy it things to keep it happy and enter it in races against other frogs trained by other people.

Day 1

This is the pond where the frogs live. They live with some fish - two koi, some comets, some shubunkins, some lemon goldfish and a silver goldfish.

Today, the Spring Equinox, the frogs laid some spawn. Fish like to eat spawn, so we have taken some out and put it in a big fishbowl.

The frogblog will follow the activities of the spawn, the frogs, and some other characters involved with the pond.

Welcome to the frog pond

Here you will hopefully be able to watch as this year's spawn (the first laid in our own pond) grows up into frogs. And there will probably be some other frog and random animal trivia too, to fill the pages up and all that malarkey.
