"If you don't want be confronted by other's beliefs, don't force your beliefs upon them..."
what gets me is why these people are so scared of words.

go on.

burn the books.
then some more will turn up tomorrow,
burn them too.
carry on burning until there are no books left,
and people are once again so scared of oppression that they pass on their tales and beliefs by word of mouth.
well how can we solve that?

burn the people.

does this sound like a good plan to you?
what would happen if those that you were burning turned round and began to burn you,
because you were against their beliefs.
you wouldn't like that.

perhaps the reason is that through all this scaremongering, propaganda, and destruction of work and knowledge through narrow-mindedness has taught those being burnt something:

Tolerance.
